Meet Kath….

Hi, my name is Kath Tonge and I've been worshiping at St.Mary's for almost 25years. I have been a commissioned Authorised Lay Minister ( ALM) in Pastoral Care for five years, helping to keep in touch and caring for our Church family. I like meeting and getting to know new people. As part of my role, I help to organise our social events, Band concerts, Musical evening, Coffee Mornings and our monthly Lunch Club, which is very dear to my heart.

Apart from the love of my Church, my other passion is my grandchildren (like most grandmas!). I have five grandchildren ranging from 8 to 24years. The two little ones Ruby is 8 and Darcey is 9, sometimes come to Church with me when they are not dancing or playing football. One loves dance and one loves football - different as chalk and cheese, but that's what makes it fun. They often stay over with me and they are my best days.

What are three things you believe about God?
That He loves me, He always forgives, He's always with me.

What kind of social gathering do you like best?
A happy one.

Lord Jesus Christ.

It's my time with God.

I'm as good as anyone but better than no one.  (My dad)
